Prizegiving social night on Saturday 10 May details:
We have had some very generous door prizes donated for this evening.
These prizes include a case (6 bottles) of Jean Marc Vigreaux-Frere
champagne (for seniors) and a $200 rebel sports voucher (for juniors)!
So you stand a good chance of getting a prize just by turning up!
Also one outstanding award is the Plonkers Paddle for the most
dodgy/random/amusing piece of seamanship witnessed in the season. If you
have any candidates (we know there are many out there) pls forward
details to us at socialcommittee@sailparemata.co.nz In confidence of
course (well at least until the 10 May).
Oh and don't forget to feel free to include extended family members in
the invite, as all are very welcome to come along. So ask your Mum! or
Dad... or Grandkids/parents etc...for a local night out, the clubhouse
looks better at night time anyway, visitors can't see the odd spot of
peeling paint ;)
The format for the evening will be:
7:30pm: General Socialising/Music/Dancing
9:00pm Prizegiving
9:30pm(ish) Supper (Please bring a plate to contribute to a light supper)
10:00pm General Socialising/Dancing continues
So whether your idea of dancing is the RSA shuffle, or you have a silver
medal in the Taumaranui two step, or even if you don't fancy dancing at
all, come and enjoy a social evening together to wind up the season.
