We aim to provide a friendly, safe, and welcoming place where all sailors can discover and
develop a love of sailing.
We encourage sailors to build confidence, character, and practical skills while caring for the environment and supporting one another.
Our Approach to Sailing
Competitive sailing has played an important role in the Club’s history and success, and it will remain a core focus. At the same time, we recognise that sailors enjoy sailing in different ways. Some are drawn to racing from a young age, while others simply enjoy being on the water with their friends. All sailors are welcome to take part in the way that best suits their interests, goals, and confidence level.
We encourage all junior sailors and families to join us for a meal in the clubrooms after Friday sailing – this is an opportunity to get to know everyone better, ask questions and
enjoy some kai together.
